You will be responsible for consulting and developing business intelligence, reporting and data visualisation solutions that are accurate, timely, consistent and reliable.Key responsibilities:Dynamically working within a small team to meet the Business Intelligence demands of a multi-faceted businessDesigning, developing and delivering analytical assets following a best-practise data analytics development lifecycleEffectively using a range of Business intelligence tools including the Microsoft Power BI stack and other BI toolsDesigning, delivering, and maintaining data ingestion, transformation, modelling, (ELT), and reporting processes using Power BI ServiceProviding end-toâend support of the Health Partners Enterprise Reporting Framework along with other customer focused reporting toolsetsConsulting with and supporting key business stakeholders in the delivery and use of developed BI contentDeveloping and maintaining high-standard technical BI documentation as development occurs across the enterpriseUsing existing Excel based Power Query Data Models for solution provisionFollowing development priorities as determined by business requirementsAbout youThe Business Intelligence Developer will have experience and demonstrated practice in a range of BI tools and processes including the following:Minimum 3 years strong SQL development experienceData Modelling design and development experience working with Kimball Star Schema data modelling methodologyMinimum 12 months demonstrated experience with Power BI Desktop dashboard development and dataset design and development (Dataflows, Datasets, Reports and Dashboards)Minimum 12 months experience with Power Query and both Power BI and Excel to deliver power pivot reporting solutionsExperience working with Crystal Reports and Crystal Reports ServerExperience with Power BI Service administration and dataflowsDemonstrated experience developing in Excel and VBA to produce reporting solutionsExperience in Dashboard Design best practicesExcellent knowledge of business processes, finance, health insurance (desired) and retail an advantageWith similar experience reflective of these requirements, you will be equipped with the skillset and knowledge to thrive in this role!What’s on offer?We offer generous employee benefits including:Paid parental leaveAllowance on your private health insurance premiumDiscounted sunglassesFlexible and hybrid workingAccess to internal and external learningVolunteer days to work with our partner charitiesAccess to our Employee Assistance Program for you and your familyAccess to discounted gym memberships and wellbeing programsYou must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident at the time of submitting your application, be able to provide two recent referees and hold a current satisfactory National Police Clearance (within 12 months) or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
